Renewable Fuels at HWRT

Ethanol
In the late 1970’s HWRT was on the leading edge, becoming one of the first terminals in the Country to offer automated ethanol blending at the load rack. On September 16, 2016, HWRT continued to adopt a leading role in renewable fuels by becoming the first terminal in the Country to offer E15 to its customers. We have an extensive background in blending ethanol and look forward to helping our customers experience the benefits ethanol can offer.
For more information on E15, please visit the Renewable Fuels Association website.
Biodiesel
HWRT began marketing biodiesel in early 2004. We offer multiple blend ratios sequentially loaded into your trucks at our four company owned terminals. Depending on the location, HWRT can offer ULSD with Cold Flow Improver into the 2/5/11/20 percent biodiesel. In addition to blending with ULSD, we do have B99.9 available at our terminal in Hartford, IL.
